Thea Chan serves as a head teacher at the Aii Language Center, one of the leading and innovative educational systems in Cambodia with its main focus on quality, discipline and services.
Thea Chan started his career as a part-time ESL teacher at the Aii Language Center in 2008. On account of his dedication, commitment and diligence, he was promoted to Lundi Keo’s Executive Secretary of the Office of the Chief Academic Officer in 2015.
He received his Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from the Institute of Foreign Languages, Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2008. In 2013, he earned his Master’s Degree of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the Institute of Foreign Languages, Royal University of Phnom Penh.
His research includes (1) Motivation and EFL Reading Success in Cambodian EFL Classroom and (2) Alternative Assessment: Perspectives from Five National ESL Teachers at the Aii Language Center (A Case Study).
