Phnom Penh: Wednesday, September 30, 2020. ICES (International Cultural Exchange Services) Cambodia and Mirai Japanese Language School signed a Memorandum of Understanding on offering study programs and services in Japan for Cambodian students. The collaboration aims to advance awareness and cultural understanding between Cambodia and Japan through education and to provide opportunities for Cambodian students.

 

Since 2017, Mirai Japanese Language Center has offered programs and courses not only specific to language but also Japan’s rich culture and customs. Students at Mirai Japanese Language School learn from qualified instructors, gain a deeper understanding of Japan and Japanese people, and are introduced to universities in Japan.

 

ICES Cambodia works with partners around the world to provide one stop solution for internal study needs. Their programs include high school cultural exchange, short-term study, study tours and academic consultation to connect students to the right study destination and path of their preference. They successfully launched their high school cultural exchange program with the first scholarship student to study in the USA in the academic year of 2021-2022. The scholarship student will spend his one-year cultural exchange program in Edmond, Oklahoma, USA.

ICES Cambodia and Mirai Japanese School will cooperate to facilitate study trips to Japan, language training to equip students and connect students with many universities in Japan. The partnership aims to deliver quality education for Cambodians students and shape the leaders of tomorrow.
